Anxiety and Worry Part 5: Nothing and Everything

“To whom would you liken Me
And make Me equal and compare Me, That we would be alike?
“Those who lavish gold from the purse And weigh silver on the scale
Hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god; They bow down, indeed they worship it.
“They lift it upon the shoulder and carry it;
They set it in its place and it stands there.
It does not move from its place.
Though one may cry to it, it cannot answer; It cannot deliver him from his distress.
“Remember this, and be assured; Recall it to mind, you transgressors.
“Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;
Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a far country.
Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it

Isaiah 46:5-11

“Precious Lord, Take My Hand”
Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I’m tired, I’m weak, I’m lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near
When my light is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

When the darkness appears and the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand
Guide my feet, hold my hand
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I’m tired, I’m weak, I’m lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
