From darkness to the Light: Part 1

From False Gods To The True God- Elohim

Part 1: ORGIN Of Hinduism

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Blinded= tuphloó= clouded vision, physically or mentally, darken the mind

Mind= noéma= a thought, purpose, design; the mind; the heart, soul, feelings, schemes Light= phótismos= light, luster, illumination, enlightenment, true enlightenment

Image= eikón= mirror-like representation, high-definition” projection, the supreme expression of the Godhead, likeness, statue,

2 Peter 1:16-21

Eyewitnesses

16 For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we wereeyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such a declaration as this was made to Him by theMajestic Glory: “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”18 and we ourselves heard this declaration made from heavenwhen we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. 20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture becomes a matter of someone’s own interpretation, 21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

Tales/Fable= muthos= myths, tales, fanciful story. a false account, yet posing to be the truth; a fabrication which subverts (replaces) what is actually true

Eye Witnesses= epoptés= an eyewitness, spectator, looker-on, in-person present

1 John 1:1-7

The Incarnate Word

1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life2 and the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us— 3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.

God Is Light

5 This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Darkness= skotia= moral, spiritual darkness

Light= phós= the manifestation of God’s self-existent life; divine illumination to reveal and impart life, through Christ.

Ying & Yang Dualism Good & Evil Agesold Lie

Genesis 3:1-5

Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”

The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat;

but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’”

The serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die!

For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God, knowing good and evil.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

There’s no such thing as a Dalit Christian only Christian or Christians from a certain nation ie Christians in Israel, England, India, America, Pakistan or cities & regions.

Dalit= Dalita= oppressed people or broken people= known in the caste system as the untouchables= excluded from the Varna =colour/status in the system of Hinduism= Varna= Caste system= Brahmin, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas & Shudras.

The Dalit was the outsider, low caste, untouchable, dark-skinned Drividuan. The Panchama= fifth= dark-skinned people of the Indus Valley= also known as Harijans, scavengers as M Gandhi called them, Balmikis, Bangi or the modern term “Scheduled Caste. Broken, split, scattered people= deemed untouchable by The 4 Vedas, Bhagvat Gita, Ramayan Etc…. Hindu literature. Hinduism was first mentioned by Cyrus the Great in 600BC. It comes from the area known as the Sindhu river. Persians didn’t use the letter “S” Originates from the Persian Avesta, with their pantheon false gods, Avestas & the demons devas. In Hinduism this was reversed, the deva’s became gods & the Avestas became demons. Dalit is Hinduism and nonbiblical Christianity. Christ Jesus Set The Dalit Free from the evil religion of Hinduism as he has done for all other sinners from every ism! So they are Christian not Dalit Christians

South Africa= Gandhi was Racist= Supported The British Empire

Called Black South Africans “Kafiri or cafri”= ethnic slur, it’s a derogatory slur as “negro” Unbelievers of the Colonial Reign

High caste Indians were superior to the native Black Africans. He repeatedly expressed this to the British rulers. South African’s he said are “savages

Gandhi on upper Separate entrances:

One of the first battles Gandhi fought after coming to South Africa was over the separate entrances for whites and blacks at the Durban post office.Gandhi objected that Indians were “classed with the natives of South Africa,” who he called the kaffirs, and demanded a separate entrance for Indians

Gandhi on Indo Ayrans

In an open letter to the Natal Parliament in 1893, Gandhi wrote:

“I venture to point out that both the English and the Indians spring from a common stock, called the Indo-Aryan. … A general belief seems to prevailin the Colony that the Indians are little better, if at all, than savages or the Natives of Africa. Even the children are taught to believe in that manner, with the result that the Indian is being dragged down to the position of a raw Kaffir= Negro

Gandhi wrote in 1903: “We believe also that the white race in South Africa should be the predominating race.”

Gandhi on Caste System

Regarding the “Law of Varna”, The Law Of Caste/Colour)

Gandhi saw it as an essential part of Hindu religion based on pre-determination of profession and respect for ancestors. For Gandhi, the caste systemwas not a human invention but a “natural law” and that those who did not respect nor followed the caste system, as by choosing professions that were “outside” of their casts, were doing damage and violence to themselves. Karma will destroy them!

Gandhi stated “varnadharma” teaching of caste, colour, status, order is the supreme eternal law; to break it one is risking their lives

A scavenger (low caste, Dalit, balmiki, untouchables) may remain scavengers without being or feeling degraded and they will be no more considered untouchables than Brahmins. The fault does not, therefore, lie in recognizing the law of heredity and transmission of qualities from generation togeneration, but it lies with the faulty conception of inequality. (13 August 1925; Gandhi.

In the Gautama Dharma (Vedic) it writes if a low caste listens intentionally to the Vedas, their ears must be filled with molten tin or wax

Gandhi loved to call the Bhangis, Chuhras, Dalits, scavengers. They were renamed Balmikis in 1910 by Lala Bhalla. 1946 Gandhi refused to eat with the Balmikis, Dalits gave him nuts and he fed them to the goats.

A Conversation with an American Evangelist John Mott:1936

Speaking about converting the Harijans( The Untouchables to Christianity)

Your appalling the Christian message to those who have no intelligence to understand what you talk about Gandhi said.

John Mott replied “should they not preach the gospel with reference to acceptance?” Gandhi replied “Would you Mr Mott, preach the gospel to a cow?

Well some of the untouchables are worse than cows in understanding.

Gandhi on RSS=

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh= National Volunteer Organisation Founder: Dr K.B. Hedgewar: 1925

Gandhi said that he had visited the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh camp in Wardha, when the founder Shri Hedgewar was alive. The late ShriJamnalal Bajaj had taken him to the camp and he (Gandhi) had been very well impressed by their discipline, complete absence of untouchability and rigorous simplicity

B S Moonje one of the early ideologies of RSS traveled to Italy in 1931 and Mussolini He was inspired by European Fascism

Fascism arose in Europe after World War I when many people yearned for national unity and strong leadership.

By the time the Second World War broke out, Hitler & Mussolini were the RSS’s spiritual & political leaders. They remain!

1939 M.S.Golwalker who succeeded Hedgewar as head of the RSS wrote:

“To keep up the purity of its race & culture, Germany shocked the world by purging the country of the Semitic races— theJews. Race pride at its highest has been manifested here… a good lesson for us in Hinduism to learn & profit by”

Tower Of Babel/All Gods/ Tower of the Gods Genesis 11:4-9

4 And they said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let’s make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of all the earth.” 5 Now the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the men had built. 6 And theLord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they have started to do, and now nothing which they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’sspeech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth; and they stopped building the city. 9 Therefore it was namedBabel because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

Gods of Egypt

The Egyptians drew on a source of power that was not of God, but false gods

Exodus 12:12

For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and fatally strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the human firstborn to animals; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—I am the LORD.

gods= elohim=divine being, goddess, great, judges, rulers, shrines Lord= Yhvh= God of Israel

God declares that he will execute judgments “on all the gods of Egypt”. This is reinforced when the author of Numbers declares that “The Lord hadbrought judgments on their gods” in Numbers 33:4, heavily implying that Egypt had its own gods, and that God defeated them.

Reincarnation/Cycle of Births/circle of Samsara/karmic cycle/moving in a circuit Wandering= animal, human, depends on your Karma,

Atman= soul or spirit= self/breath. Part of Brahman

Practice yoga, mantras, charms, duties of Hinduism, venerate the gods that protect Hinduism. Universal law of reincarnation, Brahmin worship. You pastwill determine your future. Your actions determine your next life.

Example in the Bagavat Gita:

Karna in the Mahabharata story was the half brother of The 5 main characters “Pandavas” His father was the Sun god

Yet his earthly father was a chariot maker= low caste So to Krishna tells Arjun to kill his brother when?

When Karna is fixing his broken chariot on the battle field. Why? Because Arjun was a Kasuhtirya (Warrior)caste

Karna was a low caste. So he had no right to fight as a high caste.

So Demon Krishna waited until he came of his Chariot and thus fulfilled his caste by fixing the chariot. That’s when Arjun killed him; sojustifying the killing by honouring the Dharma of Hinduism & Karma “Read The Story of the Farm Girl”

The Vedic religion was the religion of some of the Vedic Indo-Aryan tribes, the aryas, ( Ayran) who migrated into the Indus River valley region of the Indian subcontinent. The Indo-Aryans were speakers of a branch of the Indo- European language family. Drividans the indigenous people of the IndusValley. Dark skinned.

Prime god= Indra= Thunder & RainArea= Indus Valley= north India  Vedas= Sanskrit= Knowledge

They were carefully preserved orally as masters would have students memorize them Also known as Shruti= what was heard

The Vedas are a Collection of Hymns, Rituals, Chants, Prayers

The hymns formed a liturgical body that in part grew up around the soma ritual and sacrifice and were recited or chanted during rituals.

Soma= drink= Soma, in ancient India, an unidentified plant, who’s juice was presented to the gods.

After it was offered as a libation to the gods, the remainder of the soma was consumed by the priests and the sacrificer.

It was highly valued for its exhilarating, probably hallucinogenic, effect. The personified deity Soma was the “master of plants,” the healer of disease, and the bestower of riches

The Vedas praise a wide pantheon of gods, some of whom personified natural and cosmic phenomena, such as fire (Agni), the Sun (Surya and Savitri), dawn (Ushas, a goddess), storms (the Rudras), and rain (Indra), while others represented abstract qualities such as friendship (Mitra), moral authority(Varuna), kingship (Indra), and speech (Vach, a goddess).

Other scared Books:

These came way after the Vedas:

Different Gods from the original in the Vedas

Mahabharata= The Mahabharata is an ancient Indian epic where the main story revolves around two branches of a family – the Pandavas andKauravas – who, in the Kurukshetra War, battle for the throne of Hastinapura. Interwoven into this narrative are several smaller stories about people dead or living, and philosophical discourses. Krishna= himself a character in the epic, composed it; as, according to tradition, he dictated the versesand Ganesha wrote them down. At 100,000 verses, it is the longest epic poem ever written, generally thought to have been composed in the 4th century BC.

Promotes the caste system

Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita (“Song of God” or “Song of the Lord”) is among the most important religious texts of Hinduism and easily the best known. It hasbeen quoted by writers, poets, scientists, theologians, and philosophers – among others – for centuries and is often the introductory text to Hinduism for a Western audience.

It is commonly referred to as the Gita and was originally part of the great Indian epic Mahabharata. Its date of composition, therefore, is closelyassociated with that of the epic – c. 5th-3rd century BCE – but not all scholars agree that the work was originally included in the Mahabharata text andso date it later to c. 2nd century BCE. Mahatma Gandhi favourite book. His statues are seen holding the book.

Promotes the caste system

Ramayana = The Ramayana is an ancient Indian epic, composed some time in the 5th century BCE, about the exile and then return of Rama, prince of Ayodhya.

It was composed in Sanskrit by the sage Valmiki, who taught it to Rama’s sons, the twins Lava and Kush. At about 24000 verses, it is a rather long poem. Rama, Sita, Laxman, Ravana, Hunuman etc…..

Promotes the caste system

There are four Vedas: dates unknown but common view:

Agni, the god of fire is married both to the goddess Svaha and the male Moon god Soma Bisexual relationships. Soma is also known as Chandra= shining or the moon

Agni supposedly also has an affair with shiva, giving birth to Skanda= god of war

1975 Mantras

the Yajurveda,= From Vayu= associated with the Iranian/Persian wind god= war god= deity of breath= spiritual father of Hunuman= monkeygod= Rama= had sexual intercourse with women, kunti and producing strong man Beema

1875 Mantras

the Samaveda= From Surya= The Sun god=

Father to many Demi gods= Manu (began the human race), Yama (god of the dead), the Ashvins (twin physicians to the gods), Karna (a great warrior in the Mahabharata), and Sugriva (king of the monkeys in the Ramayana

Late addition to the first 3:

6000 plus mantras & Hymns

the Atharvaveda= knowledge of every day life.

The text is the fourth Veda, but has been a late addition to the Vedic scriptures of Hinduism. The Brahmin priest state the Vedas are Sanatan= eternally pre-existing

Brahmin priest are the priest of the fire= priest of Agni

Genesis 3:22

Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and takefruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever” therefore the LORD God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken

Soma the drink of gods

Soma the fermented juice drink which was consumed by the Hindu gods and their ancient priests, the brahmans during rituals. Thought to prolong life, change metal to golf, its consumption not only healed illness but also brought great riches. Made the gods immortal

Proto-Indo_Iranian=Sauma

The Ayrans gods drank Hoama= soma

Drink of Immortality Plant god

Elixir= Amrit= Soma= nectar= Ambrosiaa magical or medicinal potion

The elixir of life, according to mythology, if consumed will bring its bearer the promise of immortal life. The substance or potion and its origins can betraced back to many different ancient cultures. Some of the first stories of the elixir of life’s powers are found in Egyptian and Greek mythology. TheEgyptian god Thoth and the Greek god Thermes were said to have both consumed a magical elixir made from liquid gold and thus achieved immortality

The Veda= Practices of the Aryans/Persians

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.

Forever/ages= aión= eternity, forever & ever, from the beginning, continues to be the same Changing always/ with time/ to please the then rulers/ copied other nations

With the Vedas we have eleven different explanations regarding the origin of the Vedas—(1) as originating from the mystical sacrifice of Purusha, (2) asresting on Skambha, (3) as cut or scraped off from him, as being his hair and his mouth, (4) as springing from Indra, (5) as produced from Time, (6) asproduced from Agni, Vayu and Surya, (7) as springing from Prajapati, and the Waters, (8) as being the breath of Brahma, (9) as being dug by the Gods out of mind-ocean, (10) as being the hair of Prajapati’s beard and (11) as being the offspring of Vach.

The writers who have come forward to furnish these views are all Brahmins.

Another creation story:

The rise and fall of Bramha, Vishnu and Shiva has already been told in a previous chapter called Gods at War. Whatever happened, the struggle for place and power was confined to these three Gods. They were not dragged below any other. But a time came when they were placed below the Deviby name Shri. How this happened is told in the Devi Bhagwat1. The Devi Bhagwat says that a Devi by name Shri created the whole world and that it is this Goddess who created Bramha, Vishnu and Shiva ! The Devi Bhagwat goes on to state that the Devi desired to rub her palms. The rubbing ofpalms produced a blister. Out of this blister was born Bramha. When Bramha was born the Devi asked him to marry her. Bramha refused saying she washis mother. The Devi got angry and burned Bramha alive by her wrath and Bramha was reduced to ashes then and there. Devi rubbed her palms asecond time and had a second blister. Out of this second blister a second son was born. This was Vishnu. The Devi asked Vishnu to marry her. Vishnudeclined saying that she was his mother. Devi got angry and burned down Vishnu to ashes. Devi rubbed her palms a third time and had a third blister.Out of this third blister was born a third son. He was Shiva. The Devi asked Shiva to marry her. Shiva replied : ‘I will, provided you assume anotherbody’. Devi agreed. Just then Shiva’s eyes fell on the two piles of ashes. Devi replied ‘they are the ashes of his two brothers and that she burnt them because they refused to marry her.’ On this Shiva said, ‘How can I alone marry ? You create two other women so that we all three can marry’. The devi did as she was told and the three Gods were married to the Devi and her female creations. There are two points in the story. One is that even in doingevil Shiva did not wish to appear more sinning than Bramha and Vishnu for fear that he may appear more degraded than his other two competitors. The more important point however is that Bramha, Vishnu and Shiva had fallen in rank and had become the creatures of the Devi= Goddess

When the Vedic Brahmins say that the Vedas are Apaurusheya= not of human= what they mean is that they were not made by man. Not being made by man, they are free from the failings, faults and frailties to which every man is subject and are therefore infallible

They then say:

God has no body and no palate and therefore he could not utter the Vedas.

Who are the Vedas really promoting:

The Brahmins as lords and access to the gods!

Brihaspati

Brihaspati, (Sanskrit: “Lord of Sacred Speech”) in Vedic mythology, the preceptor of the gods, the master of sacred wisdom, charms, hymns, and rites, and the sage counselor of Indra in his war against the titans, or asuras.

Counsellor of the devas= gods

This gods view:

“There is no heaven, no final liberation, nor any soul in another world; Nor do the actions of the four castes, orders etc., produce any real effect. Thethree main Vedas, teaching one to cover themselves with ashes of the dead.

If the Sraddha (praying for the dead) produces gratification to beings who are dead= why are they still lost?

If beings in heaven are gratified by our offering the Sraddha here, then why not give the food down below to those who are standing on the housetop ? Why do these beings need us to exist?

When once the body becomes ashes, how can it ever return again?

Hence it is only a means of livelihood that Brahmans have established here/ to control. Charms, mantras, hymns, foods offered to overcome death. Paths to gods.

All these ceremonies are for the dead, there is no other fruit anywhere. The three authors of the Vedas were buffoons, demons and dishonest or unscrupulous men

These were invented by buffoons, and so all the various kinds of presents to the priests. The Brahmin is the main character

Gotama=Siddhartha Gautama= India = Nepal= 500-400 BC= Before Christ

Samsara= cycle of rebirths= Rebirths occur in six realms of existence, namely three good realms (heavenly, demi- god, human) and three evil realms (animal, ghosts, hellish). Samsara ends if a person attains nirvana

Gotama on the Vedas:

The Veda has no authority, since it has the defects of falsehood, self- contradiction, and different conclusions. The Veda, has no authority. Why? Because it has the defects of falsehood etc.”

Brahmin Charms/rings

Atharva-Veda= Charms

1: Charms to cure diseases and possession by demons of disease

2: Charm against snake-poison.

Charm against the poison of serpants, scorpions and insects Charm against diseases and demons.

Indra, Agni, Surya, Rudra, Varuna,

The Brahmanic literature gives us no clue whatsoever as to why the Brahmins abandoned the worship of Agni, Indra, Surya, Varuna & brahma. There issome explanation as to why the cult of Brahma disappeared. It rests in a charge which is found to be levelled in the Brahmanic literature against Brahma. The charge is that he committed rape on his own daughter and hereby made himself unworthy of worship and devotion. Whatever be thetruth in the charge it could not be regarded as sufficient to account for the abandonment of Brahma and for two reasons. In the first place, in that agesuch conduct was not unusual. In the second place, Krishna was guilty of greater immoralities than were charged to Brahma and yet they continued to worship.

Hinduism is Vedic Iranian/Aryan religion

It’s an amalgamation of myths from all their conquers. Babylon, Persia, Greece etc……

Human sacrifice Animal sacrifice Penis worship

Priest wife’s would request horses penis Sepas (penis) & Yoni(woman’s privates) Horse sacrifice

Gamble their wife’s away

The morals of the Ancient Aryans were no better than their religion. The Aryans were a race of gamblers. Gambling was developed by them into a science in very early days of the Aryan civilization so much so that they had even devised the dice and given them certain technical terms. The luckiest dice was called Krit and the unluckiest was called Kali. Treta and Dwapara were intermediate between them. Not only was gambling welldeveloped among the ancient Aryans but they did not play without stakes. They gambled with such abandon that there is really no comparison with their spirit of gambling. Kingdoms and even wives were offered as stakes at gambling. King Nala staked his kingdom and lost it. The Pandvas went much beyond. They not only staked their kingdom but they also staked their wife, Draupadi, and lost both. Among the Aryans gambling was not thegame of the rich. It was a vice of the many.

Devas/Demons in Persian/Iranian Avesta tails

Gods in Hindu tails. Avesta/ Zoroastrian rejected Devas as gods.

Ahura were good/lords in Persian pantheon and the deva were demons

The Vedas/ Hinduism reversed this and made the Devas the gods & Ahura the demons.

Genesis 6: Sons of God/Daughters Of Men Giving their women to Demons

The Devas were a powerful and most licentious community. They even molested the wives of the rishis. The story of how Indra raped Ahalya the wife ofRishi Gautama is well known. But the immoralities they committed on the Aryan women were unspeakable. The Devas as a community appears to haveestablished an overlordship over the Aryan community in very early times. This overlordship had become degenerated that the Aryan women had toprostitute themselves to RITINGS AND SPEECHES satisfy the lust of the Devas.

The Aryans took pride if his wife was in the keeping of a Deva and was impregnated by him. The mention is in the Mahabharata and in the Harivamshaof sons born to Arya women from Indra, Yama, Nasatya, Agni, Vayu and other Devas is so frequent that one is astounded to note the scale on which suchillicit intercourse between the Devas and the Aryan women was going on.

There is a mention of it in the Rig-Veda According to it the first right over an Aryan female was that of Soma, second of Gandharva, third of Agni and lastly of the Aryan. Every Aryan woman was pledged or loaned to some Deva who had a right to enjoy her first on becoming puber. Beforeshe could be married to an Aryan she had to be redeemed by getting the right of the Deva extinguished by making him a proper payment.

Offshoots of HinduismHISTORY OF BUDDHISM

Buddhism= Siddhartha Gautama= the enlightened one. 2500 years ago

Indian Prince who saw suffering, old age, death & a monk Why must people suffer?

Siddartha spent many years doing many religious practices such as praying, meditating, and fasting until he finally understood the basic truths of life.

This realization occurred after sitting under a Poplar-figtree in Bodh Gaya, India for many days, in deep meditation. He gained enlightenment, or nirvana, and was given the title of Buddha, which means Enlightened One

Buddhism doesn’t acknowledge a supreme god or deity. The teaching instead focus’s on achieving enlightenment

—a state of inner peace and wisdom. When followers reach this spiritual echelon, they’re said to have experienced nirvana/ overcoming self

Teaching of the Buddha

Buddha discovered Three Universal Truths and Four Noble Truths, which he then taught to the people for the next 45 years.

Three Universal Truths

Everything in life is impermanent and always changing

Because nothing is permanent, a life based on possessing things or persons doesn’t make you happy. Self There is no eternal, unchangingsoul and “self” is just a collection of changing characteristics or attributes: no eternal soul.

Four Noble Truths

  • Human life has a lot of suffering.
  • The cause of suffering is greed.
  • There is an end to suffering.
  • The way to end suffering is to follow the Middle Path.

Buddha taught people not to worship him as a god. He said they should take responsibility for their own lives and actions.

He taught that the Middle Way was the way to nirvana. The Middle Way meant not leading a life of luxury and indulgence but also not one oftoo much fasting and hardship. There are eight guides for following the Middle path

The Eightfold Path

Right understanding and viewpoint (based on the Four Noble Truths).

Right values and attitude (compassion rather than selfishness).

Right speech (don’t tell lies, avoid harsh, abusive speech, avoid gossip).

Right action (help others, live honestly, don’t harm living things, take care of the environment).

Right work (do something useful, avoid jobs which harm others).

Right effort (encourage good, helpful thoughts, discourage unwholesome destructive thoughts).

Right mindfulness (be aware of what you feel, think and do).

Right meditation (calm mind, practice meditation which leads to nirvana)

Medication

Meditation means focusing the mind to achieve an inner stillness that leads to a state of enlightenment Finding the inner peace. Chanting, breathing, martial arts,

Books

Tipitaka: These texts, known as the “three baskets,” are thought to be the earliest collection of Buddhist writings.

Sutras: There are more than 2,000 sutras, which are sacred teachings embraced mainly by Mahayana Buddhists.

The Book of the Dead: This Tibetan text describes the stages of death in detail

Death

The escape from samsara (Rebirths) is called Nirvana or enlightenment. Once Nirvana is achieved, and the enlightened individual physically dies,Buddhists believe that they will no longer be reborn. The Buddha taught that when Nirvana is achieved, Buddhists are able to see the world as it really is.

Reason for rebirth

Buddhist are reborn, according to Buddhist scripture, because of the same kind of clinging and desire that causes us to suffer. The desire of the self isso powerful that even when the body dies, the mind continues its clinging and searching. In this way, according to Buddhism, it builds a bridge to another body and takes birth again.

Buddha Believed in The Caste System; but with a twist

The Buddha condemned the caste system, which he considered unjust. He pointed out that there existed wicked and cruel people as well as virtuous and kind people in every caste. Any person who had committed a crime would be punished accordingly by his karma no matter what caste he belonged to. He said a person may be considered to have come from a high or low caste according to his good and bad deeds. Therefore, according to the Buddha it is the good and bad actions of a person and not his birth that should determine his caste.
The Buddha introduced the idea of placing a higher value on morality and the equality of people instead of on which family or caste a person is born into. This was also the first attempt to abolish discrimination and slavery in the history of mankind.
The Buddha said:
By birth one is not an outcaste,
By birth one is not a Brahmin;
By deeds alone one is an outcaste,
By deeds alone one is a Brahmin
