We at VOTV reach and teach with the word of God via the Holy Spirit.
During this week I was asked many questions concerning God and Savaltion.
Question 1: Can we walk away from Salvation?
Question 2: Why did God create Lucifer when he knows the end from the beginning?
I can answer both with these scriptures from Luke.
39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling at Him, saying “Are you not Christ? Save Yourself and us!” 40 But the other answered, and rebuking hum said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” 42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” 43 And he said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with me in paradise.”
1: Who did Jesus repsond to?
2: True conversion and False?
3: We are guilty because we have sinned?
4: This man has done nothing wrong?
57 As they were going along the road, someone said to Him, “I will follow You wherever You go.” 58 And Jesus said to him, ” The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” 59 And he said to another, “Follow Me” But he said, “Lord, permit me first to and bury my father.” 60 But He said to him, “Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.” 61 Another also said, “I follow You, Lord: but first permit me to say good-bye to those at home.” 62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
The Peril of Falling Away
6 Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of instruction about washings and
